Notepad & Thought Canvas

The Notepad module, featured as the Thought Canvas in your dashboard, is a powerful tool for capturing ideas, strategies, and meeting insights. It serves as your personal digital workspace within ZynCRM, allowing you to organize your thoughts and connect them to other business activities.

Thought Canvas Dashboard

Your Thought Canvas provides a centralized view of all your saved notes. You can easily filter your thoughts by category, time, or sort them to find exactly what you need. If you're just starting, click "Begin Writing" or "+ New Note" to capture your first brilliant idea.

Creating a New Note

When you create a new note, you'll be presented with a few fields that help keep your information organized and searchable. Here is a clear breakdown of each field:

Note Title

Give your note a clear, descriptive name. This title is what you'll see first in your Thought Canvas list. For example, "Q3 Marketing Strategy" or "Client Feedback - TechCorp."

Content Classification

Categorize your note based on its purpose (e.g., Internal, Client-Facing, Research, Meeting Notes). Classifying your content makes it much easier to filter and retrieve specific types of information later.

Tags

Add keywords to your note for granular searching. Tags allow you to group related notes across different classifications. For instance, tagging a note with #Urgent or #FollowUp helps you prioritize your tasks.

Connections (Optional)

Link your note to specific leads, projects, or contacts within ZynCRM. Connecting your thoughts to CRM data provides context and ensures that important insights are visible where they matter most.

  • Use Tags Wisely: Develop a consistent tagging system across your team.
